Have you ever heard somebody say

“I went to this fantastic restaurant last night the food was rubbish but the plates were awesome. Im going back again next week”

Im pretty certain the answers going to be no. If you think of your website like you thought of a that restaurant your one step closer to understanding were the internet is going.

If you want a queue of people at the door of your restaurant (or website) theres only so many ways your going to get it:

  • Provide the best food or content you possibly can, good enough that people will comment on it.
  • Give people good food at a great price, good enough that people will comment on it.
  • Give people free food (soup kitchens are always busy)

Whats going to drive people to your restaurant is not the lovely plates, but the food thats on them.

Whats going to drive people to your site is not the look of the website, but the quality of the content and how much your asking for it.
